House of Style Kansas City’s Director of Style is Sophia Binder who manages our style team of hair and makeup professionals. She has provided gorgeous makeup applications for our models at House of Style photo shoots since 2014. She is a self-taught creative makeup artist and hair stylist based in Kansas City who has extensive experience in weddings, photo shoots, and Kansas City Fashion Week. She has had a passion for hair and makeup from a very young age. To increase her knowledge further, she decided to go to cosmetology school to acquire a better understanding of skin care, health, and scalp conditions which she believes is an essential skill for hair and makeup artists to have when working with clients. Her favorite part of being a hair and makeup artist professional is the reveal to her clients and watching their self-esteem increase. Her dream is to make over women and men and help pull out their natural beauty.
